Reflection on Critical Thinking and Digital Technology Material

Some of the things I have learned from the material on critical thinking and digital technology are about the importance of learning critical thinking because it can stimulate or trigger our brains to think more critically about every problem we encounter, and then find solutions to those problems. While studying the material on critical thinking and digital technology, I also found out that there is a connection between the development of technology and critical thinking. Digital technology can serve as a tool and facility that can be used to search for information and acquire knowledge from other sources available on the internet. With the internet, people can connect with family, friends, or even make new friends from various other parts of the world or other countries. This enables them to engage in discussions and exchange ideas in an online forum, which can expand their networks and knowledge. The ease of internet access can help someone improve their critical thinking skills.

After reading the PDF, I also discovered that there are new technologies that can improve education better. These modern tools, such as online chats, user-friendly online tools, digital classrooms, social media sites, lifelike computer activities, robot helpers, and digital storytelling, have an important role in changing the usual way we learn into more interactive and fun experiences. These technologies give chances for people of all ages to take part actively, work together, and get better at thinking critically. For example, online chats let people talk and cooperate, while user-friendly online tools offer flexible and easy ways to learn. Digital classrooms provide exciting, interactive experiences, and social media sites help with talking and sharing things. Computer activities allow people to try out real-life situations, and robot helpers help with solving problems and working together. Digital storytelling encourages creativity and expressing yourself. These technologies can change education and improve our critical thinking skills, making them very important in today's way of learning.

This week in the Academic Speaking class, my lecturer, Mr. Udi, invited one of the outstanding students on campus, namely Kak Alfian Fajrin. He held a sharing session with us about the strategies and tips for studying abroad, explaining the process and sharing his experience. Reflection on Diplomatic Communication Tactics in English Material

          In the 9th week of my academic speaking class, my lecturer, Mr. Udi, covered the topic of diplomatic communication. He explained that there are the times when we have to communicate problems and we can say it exactly as it is. We communicate directly and there is no impact on the relationship. However, there are other times, when the situation is sensitive, the stakes are high, we do not know the other people well, or the relationship is key to develop such as in a negotiation or with external customers.
